The BREAKSAFE RM6000 Remote Battery Monitor is fitted in the tow vehicle and
operates each time the brake pedal is pressed. The additional circuitry in the
BREAKSAFE 5000 and 6000 disconnecrts the Breaksafe battery from the charge
circuit and then connects it to a small electronic load. Should the Breaksafe battery
be fully charged, a green light will illuminate on the front panel of the RM6000
Remote Monitor. If the battery is below the safe level, a red light will flash and a
buzzer will sound for about 10 seconds.

     A REMOTE BATTERY MONITOR IS REQUIRED BY THE NSW RTA TO BE

      FITTED TO THE TOW VEHICLE FOR REGISTRATION IN NSW.

is for maintaining the BREAKSAFE battery in a fully charged
state. These battery chargers can be left on constantly and
will not over charge the BREAKSAFE battery.

The BREAKSAFE Charge Isolator is for caravans
and trailers that have onboard batteries.
The BREAKSAFE Charge Isolator has and inbuilt
movement and vibration sensor which switches the
12 volt charge circuit of the BREAKSAFE 'on' only
when the vehicle is moving and turns the charge
circuit'off' when the vehicle stops.
